There are currently 3 factions within the game (not including the two added by the PACIFIC DLC, sub-factions of Allies and Axis added by the WESTERN FRONT DLC), each with different last/first names and different colors. All factions share the same ranks, however. Their uniforms are coloured differently depending on the faction.
To play, you need to pick one of the 3 factions you want to take part of. Every faction has a specific set of weapons to choose from.

The PACIFIC DLC introduced two new factions:

The WESTERN FRONT DLC mainly focus on the Allies (not including the Soviet Union, Free France, Fascist Italy) pitted against Nazi Germany, the factions are as follows:
